Overview:
Access Dental is looking for a reliable, hardworking Dental Assistant that supports the clinical treatment care of patients. The ideal Dental Assistant candidate should possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology, a friendly, outgoing demeanor and excellent organizational skills.
Position Responsibilities:
- Sustaining patient comfort
- Managing supplies
- Listening to patients’ needs and educating them on dental procedures
- Working efficiently to maintain the doctor's schedule
- Adhering to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures
- Organize and maintain lab equipment
- Take and develop x-rays and provide comprehensive post-op dental procedures to patients
Requirements:
- 1 – 3 years as a certified dental assistant
- RDA Certified by the state of Texas
- CPR certified
- Hepatitis shot records up to date
- Bilingual is a plus
- Dentrix knowledge a plus but not required
